Product description

Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub native to Asia. After water, it is the most widely consumed drink in the world. There are many different types of tea; some, like Chinese green tea, black tea, oolong tea, stc., have a cooling, slightly bitter, and astringent flavour, sweet, nutty, floral or grassy notes etc.. Tea originated in Southwest China, where it was used as a medicinal drink. It was popularized as a recreational drink during the Chinese Tang dynasty, and tea drinking spread to other East Asian countries. How to drink tea Here at the outset , I should emphasize a key point :it is infinitely more convenient to use the metric sysem instead of the fahrenheit one when discussing tea.The ideal temperature for brewing each kind of tea differs considerably .The water for heavily oxidized varieties like fujian oolong ,red ,and black teas should be close to boiling .Few will bother to dip a thermometer into a teapot .So if I say that you tea water should be 170 F,this information is not particularly useful .Even most physicists would not be able to. How to drink tea , estimate water temperature in fahernheit by sight .In contrast to the complicated fahernheit system ,the celsius scale so simple that you can easily learn to estimate temperature just by looking at the water .Water boils at 100centigrade .This means that 90 is nine-tenths boiling ,80 is eight-tenths boiling ,and so on .By thinking of tea water temperature in centigrade tearms ,it is much easier to judge what is happening in you temperature in centigrade terms ,it is much easier to juder what is happening in you teapot by sight and to brew you tea all the proper temperature.
