This is one of five courses within Service Lifecycle, and it is aimed at participants who require knowledge of practice and adaptation within ITIL® Service Lifecycle. The main focus is on the management perspective for Service Management. Each course is based on one of the ITIL core books. The course provides a deeper understanding of concepts, processes, policies and methods associated with the Service Strategy phase. The course covers the management and control of activities and techniques within the Service Strategy, but no details in the supporting processes. The course has an interactive approach with combination of teaching, discussions and case studies to provide participants practical applicable knowledge that they can start using immediately. An integrated case study provides participants with a good understanding of how ITIL best practices can be used to improve IT performance. Practical exercises are used throughout the course to enhance the learning. Meanwhile, the course will be structured so that it prepares participants for the examination held at the course’s final day.
